Dargah Hazratbal shrine is one of the holiest shrines in Kahmir valley. It was constructed in 17th century by Mughal subedar Sadiq Khan during the reign of Shah jahan. This shrine was initially called ishrat jahan. It contains the holy relic of Prophet Muhammad pbuh. This shrine is located on the bank of famous Dal Lake and it is made up of white marbles.
